Oh, I could go on all day. A long time ago, I walked away from an offer to attend Juilliard.
All of it is personal taste, of course, but here's a brief list of my favorites from all periods. Vivaldi - The Seasons. Bach - sonatas, symphonies or the Brandenburg Concertos. Beethoven - anything. Dvorak - symphony #8 and 9, String Serenade. Chopin - any piano music. Debussy - most piano music. Tschaikovsky - anything. Rachmaninov - most anything. Strauss II - if you like the Vienna Waltz. Holst - The Planets.
That's a Top 10. There are a ton more.
