Mike should have nothing mentioned other than the fact he's a world-class D-bag.

TRACYR - MIA

A pioneer owner and commissioner he activated in 2001 and played until summer 2012 playing the quantum sum of 816 seasons.
also amassed 44 championships...could at times go very spirited and give mike23 a run for his money.
a friend of mudbone1969 and was seen before he left in mudbone's theme league - Macabre Death League - my fav name for a league ever.
thanks to finn2030 for info.
I was in the Macabre Death league and had the craziest experience I have had on this site as a result. I chose an incident which occurred at the Condor Club in SF in 1983. A bouncer and dancer were getting it on after hours on a famous piano which was lowered from the ceiling to provide a grand entrance for the headliner, Carol Doda. The couple accidentally hit a switch and the piano (with them on it) began rising back toward the ceiling where it stopped and stayed in gear with both of them sandwiched. He suffocated and she survived being pinned for hours but with a little room to breathe. I got a sitemail from ELIMINATOR mentioning that he was actually the real-life son of one of the two parties (I believe the deceased).

i recall the incident but never knew of the WIS connection. Outstanding. “James (Jimmy the Beard) Ferrozzo, 40, a longtime employee of the North Beach topless club, was caught between the spangled piano and the ceiling while he was lying partially on top of his 23-year-old girlfriend, Theresa Hill, police said.”

It would be cool to go back and look at the rosters and standings in those leagues.

ARomano - MIA

one of the pioneers...one of the first superstars who retired or left on top with his great prowess still intact.
he started up on 2 / 20 /2002 and left at the end of 2015......during his tenure he acquired 133 championships ( rank 6 ) in 201 finals...a lofty .661 % probably the highest %.
he went to the playoffs 516 times in 686 seasons.......he had a .568 winning % in the playoffs which appears to be a wis world record....he was the clutch mgr.
his user rating is 171,596 but would have been even higher if not for a few years of nagging injuries keeping him on the IR...as it is he is still ranked 19 in user rating.
interestingly he played in 59 exhibition seasons evidently learning player and ball park tendencies.
his last posting was on oct. 8, 2015 regarding a yogi berra league.....not a thread starter and relatively quiet in the forums was he.
in his final year of 2015 he had a championship in october/ november/ december..........his last championship team was called Paradise Lost....he was inclined to using sci fi references for his team titles.
He was without a doubt a wise man who did many wondrous things in wis. He is one of the most beloved owners in WIS history missed by many to this day.

Al also became a legend of HD and HBD. He had an alias, used infrequently. You can find it in sim baseball user records if you know where to look. His team names were frequently references to sci fi titles. We met once in Coronado CA in the early aughts when this site was young and I was known here as barranjoey.
