a fan of uncle jed who attended college in illinois.....
active in wis from 2004 thru 2014 winning 12 championships.
ooh started many threads with the majority dealing with trivia..records and lots of nostalgia..an interesting thread about ron hunt...strategy threads and threads where he posted pictures of everything from baseball cards and misc rare photos from history..sports history ..and other assorted subjects of a pop culture variety.
ooh retired in august of 2014 because of the sad decline in his health because of his need for kidney dialysis.....in one his last posts he discussed with italyprof his feeling of being disheartened by the tanking in progressive leagues...he played to win.
we sincerely hope he is home and doing better.
a wonderful guy.

it is difficult to believe but someone is attempting to take down these posts....bringing them down below threshold...it is hard to understand....you just have to feel sorry for such a person....if they really have a gripe they should have the decency to explain it.

@dino27, I can't fathom why somebody would do such a thing.

tracyr was already one of the elite owners when I started playing in spring 2002 (under 2 different user names)... he, ARomano & tiger19 beat me senseless until I figured things out. I know he was tight with mudbone1969 - last I saw him here was in mudbone's famous "Macabre Death League".

drocks had it right...i wasnt here for the beginning either.....it is great to give the guys that started this sima nostra and figured this thing out and built it up their due.....the positive people who made it fun....they are the ones so deserving.....

I believe tracyr worked for the Elias Sports Bureau.

ARomano was a lawyer... I believe his office was in San Francisco.
