After 4 games, Becker, Franklin and Loras look very deserving of their top 10 rankings. Crazy, but #1 Franklin has actually increased its margin of victory for 4 straight games, including sinking the US Coast Guard by 33 points (110-77). NYU is close behind at 3-1 with its only loss coming at the hands of Franklin. Bettors are mad at Coach TrentonJoe for guarantying a 20 point victory against USCG, only to deliver a 13 point beatdown.

Concordia is even so far at 2-2, with easy wins against Eastbay and Methodist and blowout losses against NYU and Becker.

Eastbay gets the forfeit win against Denison, but has not looked good in any game so far. US Coast Guard has one win – coming against Whittier. Whittier did take NYU to overtime only to lose by 4 points. Soph PG Curtis Smith blew an easy layup for the win with 2 seconds left in regulation to seal the OT loss.

RECAP:
A win against #13 Loras will lock in a Franklin Tournament win for Coach Taggl. Looks like Franklin will finish the non-conference portion at #1 and will have the inside track for a Double Down win. Nothing like winning your own tournament creation.

Loras certainly surprised a few teams in this tournament with a strong showing. Coach Charlieboe hoping for the special season to continue in league and in the NT.

Becker has run through its tournament opponents wit the exception of a 10 point loss against Franklin. Coach Carlbuzz is a perennial deep threat in the NT and this year is no exception.

Coach TrentonJoe’s strong start with NYU in the tournament has all but been erased with 3 straight losses, The Methodist lost must sting the worst though. Favored by 13 and losing by 10… Some oddsmaker lost his job after that result.

US Coast Guard’s record is 2-6 and the pre-season hype is over. Don’t count Coach Spamuel out though. An easy conference schedule will have the USCG squad primed and ready for a roll in the NT.

Three of Denison’s have come against the strongest teams. The other two losses are forfeits due to travel budget woes. Denison will romp through its conference on its way to a bid and a run in the NT.

Concordia has shown well in the tournament at 3-4 with 1 forfeit loss.

Methodist’s signature win against NYU should give the team some momentum going into league. It just needs to get out of their upcoming Becker game unscathed.

Tournament sacrificial lambs Eastbay and Whittier won’t play each other until their conference regular season. By then, no one will care who wins. Actually no one cares now. School officials at Whittier have already asked to be released from its Tournament appearance contract. So far, no one has argued. The Poets just don’t belong. Eastbay’s future is uncertain as school officials are mum about its future appearances.

Eastbay officials have been loud and clear, we're remaining in this tourney. Schedule will be out soon.

Had Loras beat me it would have been a 3 way tie with Loras, Franklin, & Becker.

Sorry been very busy. Schedule was flubbed again with Denison. We have a few new teams starting next season and hopefully the teams in this are all staying for awhile. GL the rest of the way to everyone.

Haha, thanks man, this year I won't win a game in non-conference tourney, but in a few years hopefully I will be.

Sportsbull is on track to have a NC run in Season 129. Really excited to see the progress translate into wins next season. Eastbay should be ~75% rebuilt so expectations are that he runs away with this tourney trophy next season.

Stoked to be in the tournament. On the other hand, I’ll roster 5 freshmen next season, so you guys won’t be getting an SOS boost by beating up on me.

Sportsbulls has next years schedule ready and will release it soon. Sorry been very busy but will try to do the final standings tonight. Byeags Methodist team won the tourney and I will get that 10$ GC sent out later as well.

Hey everyone,

US Coast Guard coach here. I'm trying to add Keuka to my schedule for game 3 next year, but they aren't listed. I assume they already have a game scheduled that week. Let me know what I should do.

Yeah, looks like Keuka isn't available for week 6 either.

Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done except schedule whoever you want in that slot. Whatif doesn’t do schedule issues. It will be a forfeit for him and I will check to see if he is staying long term. Again do not schedule any non conf games until the schedule comes out each season. This tourney will take place each season. Going forward I think things should slow down for me(RL career) as they have been really hectic lately. I will do some previews or write ups at some point along with a few other things I’d like to start doing. Byeags let me know if you didn’t get the 10$ GC....you should have it now
