This theme has a DH? Damn. Well, at least I drafted enough hitters to make it work.

I somehow didn't realize there was a DH either. I might have drafted 1 more full-time bat. As it is I may need to pull my teams and rethink some of my season selection...

Exactly, exactly, and exactly.

I have no idea if my teams will be competitive. Half my lineups are people I never use because I think they suck/under-perform (Beltran, Cano, Arenado, Fernandez, Orr, my Catchers).

I know there are teams with better hitting and teams with better pitching. There are most likely several teams with both. I am satisfied defensively and that doesn't excite me.

Maybe I should have loaded one team up and hoped for the best but I went in a different direction. I'm opted for an approach that, if nothing else, should be fun. Which has become my approach in most leagues.

After seeing the rosters I am pretty sure my teams are all terrible.

I like long drafts. You have good rounds, and rounds you regret. But enough rounds to make up for lousy picks...

My teams aren't loaded with big guns, but should be productive.

Commish, I almost took Foutz in the final rounds...another of these Reb Russell/Smokey Joe Wood types, with both pitching and hitting seasons...

Very even overall so far, which is probably expected

I am curious as to how people built their rosters? I purposely made one team better than the other two teams. The second and third team were more leftovers and I filled those in with the later round picks. I also purposely put my best team in League #2.

For example, "My Best Team" (12-3) has the '03 Eric Gagne, '80 J.R.Richard, '07 N.Maddox, '19 Nehf, '85 McGee, '45 Holmes, '36 Dickey, etc.

Did others do that or did everybody try to balance their teams.?

I began this thinking the caps were still in place. I tried to get the best players with 3 good seasons to use. Tried to build balanced teams. Frisch went a round before I was going to draft him. I don't know which of my teams will be the best. I can short leash my pitchers with all the innings I have.
