Here are the 5-year dynasty rankings for this season (roughly based on alblack's old system). While I still have these weighted toward recent seasons, I've reduced the weighting somewhat, evening out the difference between the seasons a little more. Anyway, N. Colorado maintains the top spot with (another) F4 appearance, with Tiffin close behind. Hawaii Pacific has moved to 6 after not being in the top 25 a couple of seasons ago, and Alaska Fairbanks title allowed them to jump all the way from 30 to 9.

If only I hadn't had that crazy 1st round upset in season 106...

Just checked it out, if you would have made the S16 that season, you would have edged out N Colorado by about half a point. The early exit has a big impact for sure, pretty impressive to be at #2 even with a first round exit that recent (although getting to the title game every other year will be impressive).

It will be interesting to see how it shakes things up when a few of the coaches with recent deep NT runs that haven't had a long time at their current schools (Alaska Fairbanks, Dowling, Hawaii Pacific, Coker,etc) have enough good seasons under their belt. I say this since the top has been fairly stable in recent seasons, but we've seen some programs climbing the list pretty quickly.

Also, just throwing this out there, but this would be a good spot for conference previews and predictions if folks were interested in doing that. I'd do one for the North Central if anyone else does their conference first. In Iba, back in the day, multiple conferences had someone put up conference previews, kind of started to die out about 20-25 seasons ago. HD/WIS isn't as active as it was at one time, but it would be awesome if we could get some of these worlds a bit more active. I think we could try to turn Naismith into a premier D2 world and get more folks in a world that is more active than the others, and honestly, it would not take that many coaches posting stuff to make it happen.
