So is this thread really a thing? Random questions and answers people have to search through, instead of zeroing in on a specific question in a specific post? MikeT still lives, I guess. What a heel. (Lol I didn't say heel when I typed that.)
It worked For MikeT. This is just if you want a quick answer. Do people really need a full topic if their question can be answered in 1 line of text?

Also I’m this thread you can ask things like ‘who is going to be in the Super Bowl this year?

I’m a Montana fan and hate Brady but I have to admit, what he is doing at 42 makes a strong case for him being the GOAT.

I hate that GOAT ****. You can't compare players from different teams, eras, defenses, coaches. If anything Belichick is the GOAT.

And away we go...

I would agree.

Although as much as Mike was hated by some, he was equally appreciated by others. Whatever your personal feelings about him are he was very knowledgeable about how the game worked and spent a considerable amount of time data mining certain things and therefore could answer game play questions fairly accurately.

He was always willing to share insights with any and all, because at the end of the day if you are beating up on n00bs what does that really prove?

Who's the better 2B - a guy with 84-78-84-86 defensive ratings, or a guy with 96-78-60-59?

My instinct would be the 96 range guy because he'll get a lot of + plays. Not sure how effective way above average AS/AA is worth at 2B.

Could be worth more than I would guess, but I really never looked at it closely enough to say either way with certainty.

I'd still take the high range guy but 2b with good arms turn a lot of double plays I think.

The guy with range. There appears to be a diminishing return at 2b for glove about 70 and arm above 60.

Weren’t five-game playoff series two games one park and then three games the other at one point?

I’d go with the range as well.

Opie, I have no clue.

Thanks guys. One more for now: If I decline my team option on a guy, will I get the comp picks when he signs elsewhere?

No

I think In the past there has been a number put on how many runs a plus play saves or a negative play lets up, but I can't find the number In old forums. Does anyone know it?

Depends on who's making the plus play. A middle infielder's plus play is almost always saving a single, which is something like 2/3 of a run; an outfielder's plus play could be worth much more if it saves an extra base hit.
