I’ve actually never tried - do you not get a demotion penalty after the season is over?
I have never had a big league player get a demotion penalty after the season was over. If you send a guy to that is currently in the minors to a lower level after the season, they will incur a penalty.
If you made the playoffs do you have to wait until you are knocked out to demote or can you do it while your big league squad is still playing? (assuming the player wasn't put on the playoff roster)

You can do it while they are still playing.

As a disclaimer, I'm not saying it's impossible to get a demotion penalty. I am saying that in about 30 seasons of doing this I have not had one.

How useful (or useless) would a pitcher with 81 stamina and 11 durability be? Otherwise a very solid player, but I'm not sure what to expect from this kind of combo. Maybe he could be maximized using a tandem and limiting PC? Every four days for somebody like this seems crazy, even with a limited PC.

I'd use him in relief, with pitch counts 15/20, and expect to get 100 or so innings out of him. Others would use him as a SP, and if you were attentive enough he could give you 21-22 starts, pitch count 80/85, for a total of 120 IP or so; I just don't like juggling my rotation enough to do that. Finally, he'd be a nice Tandem A going every 5th day, pitch count 40/45, for about 100 IP.

In the playoffs, if he's a stud, you can use him for 105 pitches in one game and just take him off your roster for the next series while he recuperates.

Id use him as a sp with a lower pitch count or a rp with max at 80-85 pitches depends how good he is compared to what you have.

Does anyone have notes on trade proposals/rejections/accepts/etc. cut off? I'm finding if you write more than a sentence or two it gets cut off. Is there some way to see the rest of the note?

Good question, I usually just TC after rejecting/countering

If say you have 15m budgeted for international free agents do they always end up being worst or is it possible they become better players once you get them? For example 15m sees 85 control. Any chance the player in a few years ends up with higher than 85 control? If that makes any sense. Thanks.

Of course. There are many factors along the way that will affect that number in both directions.

Yes, it will sometimes undershoot a player's ratings and you will be pleasantly surprised. I sometimes run $2M in IFA scouting just so I will see a few and I have gotten lucky and signed a BL or two on occasion.

NL relivers are getting too many at bats I have pinch hit/run set to normal as I figured it's normal to pinch hit for a pitcher. Is it that pitch counts are screwing it up?

How many pitchers do you have on your roster?
11/3/2019 9:46 PM
12 total 5 SP 7RP

Your long relievers are the primary problem... increase your PH frequency? Change your LRs to SuB? And certainly make sure that every one of your players that doesn't start every day is in the PH hierarchy.

"And certainly make sure that every one of your players that doesn't start every day is in the PH hierarchy."

Yes, this.
