2018-19 player seasons Topic

Already I am looking forward to seeing the WIS versions of this season's Giannis, A. Davis, Durant, and Jokic.

Harden is on track for his most monstrous season ever, provided he stays healthy. But man, I'd love to see better efficiency with that cosmic level of usage. If he hovers at, say, an efg% of 50, is he really better than prime Kobe in the sim?

Kawhi and George also appear to be turning in their best seasons, and Curry is still amazing, and I know someone who'll be jonesing to get his hands on Embiid.

hmmmm i wonder who? haha

embiid has better dreb% and ftas this season...he also lowered his tos/fls...but i need that 3pt% closer to 35% to really get excited

90 d would be nice too...i think he deserves it over gobert this year

Embiid over Gobert defensively?

Domantas Sabonis currently has:

62.3 eFG% at 23.4 USG%
11.9 ORB% and 30.1 DRB%
18 AST%

His defensive rating will probably suck but he looks like a solid 3rd big

Are we going to have to wait 3 years for the new season or will it be on time this year?

The most recent NFL season was just released, and the playoffs aren't over for another couple of weeks, so that has me optimistic that this year's NBA will be back on schedule.

Okay, time to look at this question: which players are on track to turn in their best sim seasons?

Paul George, for sure. Giannis, if he stays healthy. Arguably Jokic and Embiid, by virtue of minutes if nothing else. Harden, I suppose (sigh).

Hopefully they will release on time

Just going through some players who will be intriguing.

Bradley Beal 25/5/5 range with over 50% eFG and most likely over 200 3’s

Hassan Whitesides rebounding percentages will be up there.

When do you think the 18-19 be released

Call me crazy, but I think they'll get them out rather quickly this year. They seem to have their pipeline with stats resolved and got out the other sports rather quickly, so here's to hoping.

Gobert is going to have a very similar season to his 16-17 year, with slightly less minutes but minor improvements across the board. He managed to up his ast% pretty handily while also bringing down his tov%, and his efficiency coming with slightly more usage can be huge.

Mitchell Robinson will have a pretty great partial season with 68% eFG, a MASSIVE 10.9 Block%, great OReb% and decent DReb%. I will be interested to see how much he gets used.

Also pretty excited to try out Luka, even though I'm not sure how his defense will be rated and he needs to up that eFG% to get to elite status on this website, but I'm sure I can find an opportunity or two to use him.

18-19 Jokic should be fun to play with. His efficiency and boards have dipped a bit, but I'm hoping his D rating climbs a bit.
