Welp, I can't find the original WaPo article. When you search for it, all you get is article's about the lawsuit. If anyone wants to help me, I would greatly appreciate it. It is possible that they took it down I guess.

omg a teen was talked about wrong

how dare they

did he lose a tooth? did someone steal his jacket? WTF are you even talking about
Somebody sucessfully sued McDonalds for selling hot coffee.

I think the teen has an excellent chance of winning some money.
Why?

What did the media outlet DO that "damaged" him?
What did they say that was "slanderous"?

I'd like to know.
I've never heard the alleged offensive words or actions.
What did they do to the kid?
I didn't say an excellent chance of winning the lawsuit, I said an excellent chance of winning some money. The primary purpose of filing is to try and force The Washington Post into opening up their checkbook. A friendly bet that it settles out of court...and settlement means $$$.

You still didn't answer his questions my dude.

Oh...I have no idea. I haven't seen the details of the lawsuit and I never saw the Washington Post coverage on the story. Winning money through settlement has nothing to do with merit.

The essence of privilege.

"I (or someone) did fine. Why can't everyone just do that?"

You went to college to “have a good time” so you don’t deserve answers

Opinions vary. You’re sheltered and ignorant about life in general

Topic of the day: Global Warming

Is it real or a hoax?
If it's real, is it manmade or a natural cycle?
How do you combat it?
Was is government's role, if any, in combating it?

Real. Man-made. Not sure. Big role.

Real (Not up for debate)
Manmade (But who cares)
Ask a scientist. IDK. Create a panel on it or something.
Do whatever the scientists say, within reason.

It's obviously a gigantic problem. The biggest of the 21st century.

It ****** me off when people ask 'manmade or natural' because
1. It's manmade
2. Even if it wasn't, it is still a problem.
2/21/2019 9:05 AM
Actually, I think the question of manmade vs natural is relevant. You know I think man plays a major role in it. You have proofread one of my articles on it. But to play the devils advocate here, if it's a natural cycle then it is reasonable to assume that the cycle will reverse without humans trying to influence the reversal.

Well then it's still a problem. We are already seeing the effects. What if it doesn't reverse? Then we die. Risk/reward there doesn't seem preferable.
