What current pitcher has the most career complete games? It is nowhere near Cy Young's 749...and is far less than Will White's 75 CG in a season...

I'll guess Bartolo Colon if he's still considered active (he hasn't announced his retirement, has he?), and if not, then CC Sabathia.

It was Felix until Sabathia came back...

I agree, and it's great to have italyprof posting again in the forums.

New one:

Name the only player who hit at least 20 HR and stole at least 20 bases every season from 2005-08.

Thanks. Except I got busy with work and missed a lot of good trivia questions! Stupid work.

We all know Griffeys Jr. and Sr. played together with Seattle. Name the other MLB father-son duo who played together on the same team.

Rats. I KNOW this one and can't quite bring it to mind...

Pete Rose and Pete Rose Jr.? No.

Tim Raines and Tim Raines Jr. is my guess. But it is a guess.

Correct. They both played for the 2001 Orioles.

They also were the only known father-and-son duo to play AGAINST each other professionally -- albeit in a AAA game (Raines Sr for the Expos AAA affiliate and Raines Jr for the O's AAA affiliate) before they both played for the Orioles together!

The Raineses is correct!

b.r.com has the boxscore but they somewhat confusingly have "Tim Raines" batting lead off and playing CF and "Tim Raines" pinch hitting in the 7th. (It was Jr. batting lead off, Sr. pinch hitting.)

Based on a book i read years ago, when was there a groundrule triple?
4/17/2019 10:31 PM
Many of the early parks did not have outfield walls or fences. Fans would sit out there. I'm guessing it was some sort of fan interference. ..

Upon further review...There is 1 active park where the groundrule triple is possible ...it has happened twice.

How many ways can you name where a batter reaches first base? Technically there are more than twenty...

Any kind of hit (separating these would give us 4)
Fielding error
Walk
Hit by pitch
Fielder's choice
Dropped third strike
Catcher's interference
...
