You pick a franchise (not a team, so St. Louis Browns-Baltimore Orioles, etc.), and you may use ANY player and ANY season from that franchise THAT IS NOT IN THE HALL OF FAME.

To find out if a player in the Hall of Fame, when you click on the player's name in the Draft Center, click "view awards".
That player MUST HAVE PLAYED FOR YOUR FRANCHISE IN THE SEASON YOU USE. Example: you pick the Red Sox, use Roger Clemens, only in his Red Sox seasons, no Yankee seasons. You use Barry Bonds, and you are playing the Pirates, use only his Pirate seasons.
FRANCHISES ARE UNIQUE, SO YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR THEM HERE, FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. I WILL CHOOSE MINE AFTER 10 OWNERS HAVE SIGNED UP.
Standard 24 team, 4/4/4 set up. No DH, No WW, No trades. NO CLONES - YOUR PLAYER MAY APPEAR ONLY ONCE ON YOUR ROSTER.
But players are not unique, so the same player may appear for more than one franchise so long as their seasons used are for the franchise they are playing for.
Must use a ballpark used by your franchise during their history.
I have my own strong feelings about who belongs in the Hall of Fame, and about the whys and wherefores of those not included, including those excluded by policy or by implicit agreement.
We all do. We are not going to quibble or argue over who should be in for this league. It is a very simple rule: any player may play for a franchise team IF they played for that franchise in the season used in this league and so long as they are NOT in the Hall of Fame.
