A 16 round draft league. But there is a wrinkle...

You will be given a randomized list. Your list will determine what position you must draft in each round.

You will have 16 spots to fill.

8 pitchers
1 catcher
1 first baseman
1 second baseman
1 third baseman
1 shortstop
3 outfielders

They must have at least one season that was their primary position where you draft them.

Example: Craig Biggio has at least 1 season where his primary position was C, 2B and OF. You can draft him at any of those 3 positions. Where you actually play him, and which season you use is up to you.

All of your drafted players are EXCLUSIVE to you. No other owner may use any season of their careers.

Your other 9 players on your roster may be any player not selected in the draft.

I'm in. Some questions:

-I assume not everyone has the same position in each round. So while I might be drafting a 2B in round 4, Chisock might be assigned a pitcher?
-Related: will we know everyone's lists ahead of time? I can see arguments either way.

-Are we specifying the season when we pick? Or am I just picking "Greg Maddux" and I can sort it out later? But on the hitter side, if I draft, let's say Rod Carew in the 1B round, I need to pick a season where his primary position is 1B when I eventually sort it out?

-Is there any requirement that we actually PLAY the player at that position? So if I draft a Carew whose primary position is at 1B, I can still play him in the outfield if I want?

Everyone will get their own random list. So yes, players from several positions will get picked each round.

You do not specify a season, just the player you are drafting.

There is no requirement to play them where you draft them, only that you fill all 16 blocks.
