Mike Trout is a transcendent ball player. But at this rate he could finish his career without ever appearing in the world series game. What a travesty! But of course he's not the only one. Ichiro, Colavito, Banks, Kiner, and many others never played in a world series either. This league seeks to correct that Injustice, at least in the Sim world.

Every team will draft one season of Mike Trout. He's definitely going to the series in this league. In addition each team will choose one other player from the list found at baseball reference:

The players chosen from this list must have played most of their career after 1947. Your pick is exclusive for the purposes of building your roster. (In other words he can show up on other rosters as a teammate of somebody else's pick) The rest of the roster will come from the actual teammates of these two players. Trout's teammates must come from the Trout season you choose. teammates of your second pick may be chosen from any year of their career, but they must be actual teammates : no twisting.
Other : 110 m salary cap. No: AAA waiver wire, trades. DH AL only.
Injuries off. 24 teams, interleague play. No stadium restrictions.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the winning strategy, but this is a cool theme and he's my favorite player (was my favorite player? :( ) I'll pair up Trout and Ichiro.

Welcome Zephyr. You can use BR to find teammates but you cant use BR to twist teammates. For example, suppose my second player is Rocky Colavito. He has no sim year in 1955, but I know from BR that he appeared in 2 games with the Cleveland Indians that year, so I can use any SIM eligible Cleveland Indians from 1955 as teammates.

I just want to make sure everybody understands that you can't use BR to find a non-sim eligible teammate and twist him to an eligible year. For example, even though Hal Newhouser pitched a couple of games for Cleveland in 1955 you can't use that connection to add 1946 Newhouser to your roster.

Thanks for the explanation ,,this will give me something to work on while I am watching the Masters today!
