Looking forward to this getting started! So many options to bring forward from the 1970 Cubs: Banks, Fergie, Ronnie, Billy Williams, Hoyt Wilhelm. Wish I had the option of taking three from this group and just one from the 2000 Cubs.

Question: do we need to designate our BTF players before the draft?

I'd like to get in this league also but this time around I'll go with the Saint Louis Cards. Hard to pass on Gibson and Carlton togeather in their prime.

It's going to be interesting how to build up the Pirates. A lot of the core of their early 1990s teams came from outside: Drabek, Bonilla, Van Slyke, Bell, Zane Smith, LaValliere, Slaught.

One more question: In the initial draft, must you have a certain number of players already on your team? In other words, let's say I have fifteen players from 70, 85, and 00. Would I only have 10 picks? Or I have ten players, would I have 15 picks?

You must keep 20 or more, the most picks you can have is 5.
