Not sure if this is the case with anyone, but you can only call up 2 players from 1970/2000, not just trade them and call up new guys, or trade from your 1970 roster, doesn't work that way, you can trade them once they're up but then you lose that 1970 slot.

You do not have rights to the whole 1970 and 2000 rosters, you get to pull 2 from each, what you do with them after is up to you, but ya cant just trade rights to players you don't own, or use another call up because you trade one, sorry.

I don't know how this works- Joe Niekro is on the 1985 NY Yankees too. He's a C player so he will appear on both teams.
I have twisted the Niekro brothers on the NY team.
