One thing I ask before I get started- if it's not obvious who your starters are, please clarify.

Example: I drafted Ray Allen, it could appear like he's my starting 2 and Pippen moves to 3. This is not the case.

Oladipo/Beal
??????/Beal/???
Draymond/Barkley/?????
Barkley/Domantas/?????
Cliff Ray/M. Robinson/????

Do we have a list of players on each team yet? It will be really time consuming doing a division draft otherwise...

Sent in my division draft. Overall, I saw a few clear favorites and a lot of teams in the middle. Only a handful of teams on either end. Should be interesting.

Evals mostly finished, once we see how the division draft shakes out I'll pick playoff teams.

I welcome the dialogue- evaluate my evaluations.

As always, I wrote these in good fun so don't get butt-hurt if you don't like what I wrote!
I'll try to have a new format for next season's evals ;D

To respond to mikee - I drafted Porter for passing, 3s, and those sweet, sweet percentages across the board. I wouldn’t call it mixed identity so much as having elite defense (two 100 D starters and one 92 D) and elite eFG% and FTAs with Moses and Larry grabbing O boards and AK and Larry protecting the rim. KJ is like Jameer or George Hill on steroids. Even with Moses, I have more than enough 3s and passing thanks to Ryno, KJ, Porter and a stretch 4 who shall remain nameless. Feeling pretty good about it.

For those who missed it like me, evals are on the first page. Good work, mikee

Thanks for the fine evals, mikee! I agree about my squad. A lot going for it, hard to bring heavy criticism, but it doesn't spark amazing joy. Actually I think the major drawback is that Duncan and Wade make for a ton of usage at meh efficiency. Also, Kermit slots in great at SF (97% effectiveness, but good efficiency, combined reb% and D) except that he single-handedly nudges my clean from mostly clean to a lot of fouls.

Given all the new player seasons and draft surprises, this will be a fun season to watch unfold.

I'm the President of the Kermit Washington Fan Club. Very few guys with that combination of 80 D, high eFG% and OReb%, and versatility at three positions.

Enjoyed the evals

Buck is my starting SF, with the 17-18 AD season I felt like I had to get a good rebounding SF. It's really a 7 man squad with the seasons I got, hopefully the fouls won't get me in too much trouble.

dh555 - Dwight Howard, Steve Nash, Clint Capela, Mookie Blaylock, Gerald Wallace, Jimmy Butler, Chris Andersen
1 The blueprint is complete- efficient big with shooters on the perimeter. Capela a nice support for the frontcourt, will make a fine platoon with Birdman.
2 Talk me through this team scoring enough. I am not sure. It looks efficient enough, on paper enough usage, but I think that may hold you back a smidge.
3 Butler has a nice backup season- clean, 80D, multiple positions, more than 22.1% usg. We will see. Take your eye off the finish line and we’ll be tied at six each!

great job on the evals mike

1 - easiest way to build a winner in the sim...grab one of the elite high usg/high efg bigs and surround him with more high efg 3pt shooting...i definitely think ive accomplished it here...birdman as a backup 4? come on mike! this isnt amateur hour here...birdman is backing up 05-06 gwall at the 3..he should never play the 4

2 - i had the same worry...nash is better suited as the 3rd scorer on a team and i dont think i can count on capela(fts) or mookie(poor 2pt shooting) to give me consistent scoring...hopefully jimmy can help me out off the bench...i really needed his ftas

3 - i think im about to pull ahead by two titles again mike...im really liking this team...this is the first time ever i didnt have enough cash to get all the backups i wanted - tracy murray had to make an appearance and will have to play a few games...im loaded with high efg, boards, and defense and ready to prove that everyone made a mistake by letting mookie fall to me in the mid 4th

Kind of experimenting w/ this team. Redbooda ruined my plan of using Dirk undrafted. Sacrificed efficient scoring for rebounding and Low TOs. We will see how that works for me.
Mike, your eval matches my on thoughts and concerns.U sually when I make a team I prioritize these stats in order: Proper Usage, Rebounds, Efg, Defense, and Ast.
However I have been trying to keep turnovers in mind more so I have been experimenting with the Tov% stats and how it affects my team. In doing so I discovered the VORP and BPM stats over at basketball reference. I was curious what a team would look like if my top guy prioritized that stat. This is that team. I knew efficiency was low so that is why I tried to counter act it with Dirk and Rebounds. But Best made plans of mice and men. There was a lot of other things that went wrong here. After Dirk I tried to go full throttle on the VORP and BPM stats with Lanier but that fell through to. I think this teams biggest weakness is actually it’s Ast numbers. They are very low for a team that isn’t very efficient. We will see how this goes! Sorry for the long comment, I just did more research then I have before into this team so I thought I would share.

yep mike i would also like to look at my depth chart i dont think johnson quite fits. Like dh i also used all my money

I definitely agree with your assessment of my team, mikee. If I had known that I would definitely be able to grab Mason in the 5th, I probably would have drafted Serge Ibaka instead of Siakam... not that he’s too much better on the boards. I was just concerned about making sure I actually drafted enough passing
