Kind of experimenting w/ this team. Redbooda ruined my plan of using Dirk undrafted. Sacrificed efficient scoring for rebounding and Low TOs. We will see how that works for me.

You might have over-invested in rebounds, but you will have plenty of misses to grab from Payton and McGrady. I'm not sure a team can win at this cap with its two primary scorers having efg% around 50, but you should at least win the possession battle with lots of boards and pretty low TOs.

It looks like we forgot someone.

Oscar is one of at least seven players I've been watching fall... There's a lot of love right now for shiny new player seasons that I suspect will lose some appeal after initial experiments, but we'll see.

I don't have time to look and figure out who the other guys are right now, but it doesn't really surprise me that once Oscar got out of the first couple rounds, he would keep sliding. Both because people wouldn't be thinking of him then, but also because peoples' needs start to narrow once they have their first couple picks locked in. Oscar is kind of a generalist with a sort of middle-tier usage, and people are often not looking for that type of player in the middle rounds.

I don't consider him a steal, either, but he's got nice value in the 5th if you are still in need of a PG.

PG13's new season should be no lower than a second round pick, IMO - whether this team works out or not I think he's too good to fall into the 3rd (29% usage, over 52% efg with high FT%, solid assists and d-rebounding, almost 300 threes). I'm probably short on rebounds, and my backups will be annoying to find because I need much different backups for all five positions. But good efficiency, plenty of threes, solid defense. I usually do pretty well with Mailman in this league, so hopefully that trend continues.

I'd take him over several PGs picked ahead of him, almost regardless of need.

I had a pretty good team with Oscar as my 4th round pick last year. I’d agree that he’s a steal in the 5th. Good pick.

Two of my top four at the 4 spot just got picked. Might have to do something drastic

The interesting thing on PG is at the start of the draft he had no received his 70 to 90 DEF bump for 1st team all defense. I'm pretty sure in the 2nd round he was still a 70 D guy and as my pick was coming around in the 3rd I searched him again and saw the 90 bump and million or so increase in salary. I wanted to grab him!

Doc, Moses, Porter and blocks. Need some more shooting and a backup for Larry, but I'm feeling this.

Not sure which Barkley I’m using yet, but for an example I’ll pick the low-TO version:

Barkley: 24 USG%, 60.8 eFG%, 12.9 ORB%, 19 DRB%, 11.5 AST%

Domantas: 23.5 USG%, 59.6 eFG%, 10.6 ORB%, 27.8 DRB%, 13.4 AST%

I don’t know how I feel about drafting my 6th and 7th man in the 4th and 5th round, but always having one of (Oladipo or Beal) and one of (Barkley or Domantas) on the court is nice.

That is a nice season from Domantas. I confess I hadn't noticed it.

Yeah I’m definitely happy to get him, he’s the perfect backup to Barkley IMO...just worried that his FTA rate is half of Barkley’s and his D is even worse than Chuck’s, but getting 95% of Barkley in the late 5th seems worth the risk.
