robusk - do you know the lowest amount of minutes for a championship team in this league so far?

I pushed it the last two times and had no fatigue so I am definitely going even lower.

I'm going short and counting on the alleged extra allowance for my big 3 pushing them into 40+ mpg

I don’t. Ben might. I wouldn’t roll in with less than 19,200 or so at the lowest. 19,300 is my general target.

I haven’t been in the league long. Just 7 seasons. So I don’t know much about the history beyond that.

I am am curious if anyone has won the championship with having a first round bye.

I was something like 19,085 last year and no issues - I am going under 19k this time I think.

I have the same targets. 19,300 with maybe 19,200 in a pinch.

I believe dh555 was just under 19,200 with his Wilt team (something like 19,190), but Wilt makes up for some of that with being able to play 48 instead of 45. That’s the only team I can remember winning it all with short minutes.

I do have actual playoff data though.

6 of last 14 teams between 19,200 and 19,300 have made the playoffs. Some proven owners on that short list though.

4 of last 19 teams under 19,200 have made the playoffs. Off the top of my head I think that’s dh555, Midge (with something incredible like 18,700 or so), and then jhsukow and NotoriousJ last season. I believe dh is the only one to win a playoff game with those minutes, but again... Wilt.

Holy **** that is not good

Looks like I need a bit of a reconfiguration here - I must be underestimating the fatigue factor on guys who are 95-99.

From my experience the hit gets progressively worse at 97. So 98 or 99 isn’t too bad but then it gets steep.

Basically I always shoot for 19,300 or more... when I’ve dipped low things went bad regardless of league but at 19,300 can keep everyone at least at 98 most at 99 or 100.

All of that sounds right. Except for Midge somehow won a f’ing playoff series with that damn 18,700 team iirc.

I do not recommend that at all though.
