Late add to the above because he posted the pick after it but.... man oh man I love mikee's start with Hardaway, Rodman and Stoudemire. Stoudemire and Rodman is a great pairing.

Robusk: I'm using the 68-69 Russell season with the 90 d rating so I have by your 19400 min metric 19.6m to draft my remaining 9727 minutes - I think this may be different than your assumption? fwiw I think I'm actually closer to $165k so still pretty low on the board

I find it hard to pick a best season of his because so many are similar. I think I prefer the 59-60 version. Better rebounding, better TO%, better shooting, less fouls. But also worse defense, more expensive, worse passing, worse shot distribution.

I think at 7.6m for 3200+ minutes of 90 D and 12/26 creb the 68-69 season is pretty cost effective which I need since my UNC connection duo cost 20m just by themselves

I would’ve been happy with (18-19) Gobert, Ben Simmons, Jokic as my 1/2/3 but I was able to trade down and pick Gobert, Jokic, and a falling Simmons 1/3/3 and turn my 5th into an extra 4th + move up both of my 6ths in the process. Fingers crossed that I don’t screw this up.

I really hoped to be real time involved in commentary, but I leave for a bachelor party on Friday and I come back to an anniversary on Sunday. Since I am an early riser, no matter the physical/mental conditions, I will still try my best to update over the weekend. Since boss of the house has been out of town all week, I plan to avoid this devilish machine and get lucky on Sunday, but if you see me posting you know I failed. Anywho, cheers to all of your mistakes!
I loved this little peak into your life. Appreciate you doing these evals. I am enjoying them so far.

I have Artis as a first round talent, so it was a no brainer for me. Good news is Nash and AD are cheap together
I was hoping someone with less free money would grab him.
I usually keep track of how much money each owner has remaining to fill out the rest of their need Min/82. It helps me keep track of where everyone else in the draft and prevents me from overvaluing teams that seem loaded but are short on cash. Obviously I can only go off of what I perceive to be each player's best season and I use 19,400 minutes as my baseline. That being said... as it stands now:

My experience is that often I end up +/- 1000 minutes from 16,000 drafted minutes. Once I start getting below around $140,000 remaining for cover the rest of my minutes / 82 (especially if I need a couple guys with usage), I start getting real nervous about my bench. Obviously you can tweak those if someone you ended up only needing goons to finish your minutes.

I really only care about having 9 guys who are good enough for playoff minutes.

This is just how I think though.

Yeah I think we had a conversation about how you track team usage once too. You tend to have a more casual approach to this (and probably life in general) which I am kind of envious of.

I feel like every draft I forget to remind myself to "wait on drafting a PG!"

I used to spreadsheet a lot of this stuff but it just became too much for me - that said 2m per 1000 is about 164k per min so just about where I find myself now so maybe I'm more preciser than I'm allowing

there's like maybe 3-5 worth going after early and then it's yeah - even more so with SGs I think

So this is my best guess of where everyone is at after the first few picks in the fourth round. I will post it periodically a couple more times. This is with my best guess of what seasons are being used.
