If I have a recruit that my AC scouted the previous season and I send an AC Scout the next recruiting season it words it like it is from the player. If I scout a guy not on my initial 4 it words it from the AC. If I see another coach has recruited one of my initial 4 would it be wrong for me to sitemail that coach to see what response he got so I can see the wording?

Against the rules. Any communication between coaches during recruiting that is about recruiting is considered collusion. Thats the official line.
Now ask me if I'd care if you did that ? :)

I would even wait until after recruiting was over.

I see nothing unethical about asking about the wording at any time. But after recruiting , it is perfectly acceptable by Wis.

Or you could communicate with him on the conference chat board. "Hey, you go for this guy, and I'll go for that guy!" LOL
