Dueling Dems Round V Topic

I would gladly vote for Sanders, Buttigieg, and Yang

Well, Yang wasn't IN the debate, hence out of the picture re my comment.

I could vote for Yang........... over Trump that is.
I'm on the fence about Bernie.
I'm trying to reach the fence on Mayor Pete.
Have we ever had a POTUS named Peter?

Gotta think on that one...........I don't think so.
Lotsa James's I think.
One Abraham comes to mind, that's pretty unusual.
Then there is Rutherford.
Fat man in the bathtub.

Where have all the Tulsi lovers gone?

fools

Just had a thought.
Most historians (and the written record indicates to some extent) will conclude that Custer had Presidential aspirations.......had even attempted to explore getting one party's nomination (forget which one---Dems I think).

Anyways, my thought was........... Having a POTUS named Donald J. Trump (The guy we DO have in the WH) is what I would have surmised a Presidency with Custer at the helm would be like.

I sure hope we don't end up with the same result Custer got.......... when he charged headlong into an awaiting melee.
Not many of the Custer "bunch" ended up telling us how brave and smart HE was.

This "fool" is still here........... but not in "love" with Tulsi anymore.
Maybe a tad of lust, perhaps.

Lemme imagine a sec............... Tulsi or Amy K.

Shudder.

Sorry for that image.
Let's move on, shall we.

You got someone you think can beat Trump in 2020......... besides Yang?

Lemme imagine a sec............... Tulsi or Amy K.

As self-indulgent Americans, can't we have BOTH?

Bloomberg/ Klobuchar is the only ticket I want to see

Biden/ Gay Pete would have a chance
1/17/2020 11:18 AM
LOL. YOU can imagine AMY K in anyway you care to.
It's a free country and this traditional "liberal" ain't about to be some weird type of "thought police".

And spending much time "imagining" Amy K (In ANY position--pun intended) is definitely some "weird thoughts".

You must have some sort of eye fetish............
I can't get into the midwestern housemarm thingee.......... just doesn't do it for me.
LOL

Bloomberg is a definite maybe. I haven't spent any time examining his public record as I ain't that interested in what happens in NY.
Selfish maybe, but my neighborhood matters more to me than NY.

I'm concluding he'll spend enough $$$ to educate me on his more sellable life events.

Klobuchar is one of the very few Dems I couldn't vote for in ANY capacity.
IF Bloomberg picked her for VP He'd lose my vote for a complete certainty.

IF you put together a ticket of Biden/Klobuchar you'd lose everybody I know's vote.
Even all my female family members.

Not a single one of them can stomach Amy K's pandering usage of her gender to attain interest from voters.
Her "act"/campaign is completely as annoying as Trump's constant lies and pandering to the racists and nutjob evangelicals.
NOTE to any evangelicals present on site: NOT all evangelicals are nutjobs in my view................ just many of them.
Some kin are evangelicals............ and you can't choose your kin!

BTW, I think Gay Peter is a solid VP choice for most candidates.
But Yang wouldn't need him to diversify the ticket.
Yang brings diversity all by himself!

Oh and BC. I don't believe Biden can beat Trump in a fairyland world. I suspect he'll crash and burn long before the nominating process is complete.
He's a complete disaster as a Candidate........ in EVERY way.

Old, slow, ineffectual in communication. AND has a long long record of "insider-ism" and mediocrity AT BEST.
In fact HE is (IMO) responsible for our having Clarence Thomas on the SCOTUS FOR LIFE!
A horrid historical event.
Helped along by his (Biden's) monumental LACK of SPINE!

Trump would use all his baggage and this whole Hunter Biden "insider influence trading" story to just crucify stuttering Joe to the point of meltdown.
IF there were ever a choice for POTUS between those two guys in 2020 it would result in a landslide WORSE than McGovern's loss in 1972.

The dums BETTER wake up......... and quickly.

Biden is HRC redux!!
But it'll be far worse than 2016 for the Dems. IF they run Biden.
They'll likely lose the House with that ticket!
1/17/2020 11:37 AM
Hillary got 4 million more votes than Don the Con. All Biden would have to do his flip 77, 000 votes in those 4 swing states(his strength)
1/17/2020 11:57 AM
1/17/2020 12:09 PM
Yup. You are correct BC. That's all He'd have to do. That AND do as well everywhere else as HRC did. He won't!
Wish I could bet on that concept somewhere.
I would because I'd make money, easily.
I like doing that.

But I don't think Biden will even get the chance.
I expect he's toast.
He better be.
I want Trump gone.
IMO, he's an embarrassment to the Country.
Well, most of us.

I'm pretty sure that William Howard Taft was the fat man in the bathtub. Rutherford was slim and trim by comparison.
