The Best First League = Closed Topic

The "Best First Progressive" is an unusual progressive in that you use players in order of their Salary from most expensive to least expensive.
If you are looking for something much different than the usual then this is for you.

There are 2 teams available listed below.

We are in season 5 and will start drafting for season 6 about February 1 as we do the drafts during the 2nd half of the season. I will transfer the team to you so you can take part in the draft for season 6.

Each team has 3 players from their roster that become Free Agents. You are allowed to draft your Free Agents back onto your team if they are available at the time of your pick. You also get to protect 2 players. If those 2 players get chosen as Free Agents then they restart with their most expensive season.

The 2 teams available started with the 1975 Orioles and the 2010 Yankees.

Just let me know and I'll give you access to the league forum to check out the rules.
Current rosters are listed below.

Great part about this league if you take over a team that isn't very good is there isn't a long rebuild because you start using the best most expensive seasons of the players you draft right away.

I'm interested if the team is still open

Interested. How do you determine who the FAs are?

Each owner posts their players in the private forum numbered from 1 to 25. Then someone from outside the league does a random draw from 1 to 25. The 3 Free Agents are the players on everyone's roster that correspond with the first 3 numbers in the draw.

This is a very fun league and a great concept. I encourage anyone considering it to join. You won't regret it.

Question are the players shown in their current season or the one coming up. Knowing which version we’ll be taking over would be helpful
10/6/2019 11:57 AM
How does the league go forward? This team started with the 75 A's. Where does it go after that? 76 A's? I'm interested but need to see more complete rules

I'll take this team. I can figure out a few things as we go on. This should be interesting.
