Wont hurt much if at all.

To make sure that your K does not play. RD Shirt him and if by some slim chance that he improves enough to K. Then keep him or cut him.

That's a heavy price to pay to keep your kicker off the field.

1) You can't RS a K if you do not have a back-up. Why would you carry 2 kickers?
2) Why would you RS a K when you could RS a good/great FR that can do more for you for 4 more years?
3) My rep went up to A- after the new season started. I think that's where it was before the cuts (3).
4) It's easier to just recruit a P and K. They don't usually cost much to recruit and you only have to recruit 1 every 4 years. I would rather have an extra position player getting better.
5) If you carry a P and K then if you aren't able to fill all of your scholarships, the player that you sign won't see the field and won't hurt you.

Yes he does. I never thought about kickers that much.
