Rare Opening in 1973 Space Age Progressive League Topic

We have a rare opening in the long-running (28th season upcoming) Space Age Progressive League. The current owner left on the eve of the draft. The team is a recent champion, and has some solid pieces for the future, including Tom Seaver, Andy Messersmith, Bobby Murcer, Ken Singleton, and Bob Watson. The owner, however, traded away a number of current picks (1973 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th; 74 3rd, 4th). We're ready to begin the draft. Please let me know if you're interested.

Space Age has excellent retention. Many original owners are still on board, and the majority have participated for more than 10 seasons. This is a very solid league with very low turnover.

Space Age uses its 20 teams' 4-year cumulative record to determine draft position. Lowest win total drafts first, snake-style. A 45-game "winimum" helps prevent tanking, with a penalty applied across future years for missing the winimum. Max keepers is 20 each year, so there's always interesting roster decisions and lots of trades. We supplement rosters with 6 AAA below average pitchers and 6 batters. DH to come to vote in current year.
