Trenton Frondeurs
S48 Record: 63-99
S49 First Round Pick: 4th
The current ML roster is headlined by Cesar Gonzales and Derek Muratore, but this team is due to rebound after a 63 win season last year. The focus for the new owner should be the upper farm system, as the lower minors have some nice pieces but some stop gaps between the parent club and the low minors will be necessary.
Madison Mad Hatters
S48 Record: 72-90
S49 First Round Pick: 7th
With the right superstar in tow, this roster could be the makings of a very nice supporting cast. There are 12 players with OVR ratings of 70+, highlighted by Bobby Herndon. Along with those guys, there are four more such players already on the 40 man who are currently on the AAA roster. The right signing could put this team right in the mix in a league where 87 wins was playoff caliber last season.
Ottawa Wolverines
S48 Record: 61-101
S49 First Round Pick: 2nd
This team is in a very similar position to their division rivals in the NL North, as a superstar could transform this into a dangerous team...but as it stands the new manager could just as easily make their mark by beefing up the minor league system. To that end, this squad has the second overall pick in the upcoming draft and could acquire franchise-altering talent in that phase of the game rather than free agency.
