Season 153:

Michael "Sly" Snyder, LB. A lightly-recruited linebacker who was rumored to be a fall-back plan and came into school ostensibly having already hit his ceiling as a player, Snyder played sparingly as a back-up for three seasons until being named the 4th starting LB in his senior year. He took the opportunity and never looked back, ultimately earning ACC Defensive Player of the Year and honorable mention All-American. His impact was felt all over the field, but particularly in coverage, where he regularly shutdown his side of the field.
