I didn't draft Boddicker to get a high pick, but no, I wouldn't have guessed a Ripken teammate would place me as far down as I'll be next round.

Well, I was going to wait a bit longer to draft my starting thirdbaseman, as 22 other teams already have that position covered. I wasn't expecting Jimmy D.ykes to get taken yet. I guess some folks are already drafting backups and pinch hitters. So I'd better grab my leadoff hitter (.440 OBP#) and check back late Tuesday night as I expect to draft last (or close to it) in round 17.

Yeah, I was shocked that Lyons lasted this long. There is at least one other good one left. 3B was really deep

Exactly why I waited so long. I'm not worried about defense, cause there are a number of guys I can choose from to help with that (in a much later round).

I pulled the trigger too early on Bradley but panicked and wanted a usable Joss teammate after Brian took who was going to be my pick that round in Hickman. Oh well.

Before I pick, looking for a clarification. We can't select partial seasons...so in the above case where red took Beltran (tied to Dotel). The only season that I saw this happened was in 2004 with Houston where Beltran had a split season with KC. The way I understand the rule, only Beltran's combined stats are usable, not the partials from the 2 teams. Not trying to mess with red's pick, just using it as an example. Thanks!
