QB Formation IQ on Running Play? Topic

How crucial is the QB's formation IQ on a running play? Same question regarding GI? Being that he is just handing the ball off are they minimized?

That's a good question. There are quite a few fumbles on running plays, but I don't know if any fumbles happen at the QB-RB exchange, and if formation IQ affects that.

I hope not because I always have my freshmen QB handing the ball off.............

Here is my thinking: if I’m at DI, why not recruit a DII or lower QB for very little cash that has a high stamina rating who is going to just hand the ball off?

This is what happens if your QB has low formation IQ on running plays:

That's not good.

Yeah, you can really get a better feel for the game if you pay the extra $$$ for the GD live play simulations.

I use my backup to hand the ball off so that he gets playing time, sometimes even credit for a start. Why not use the underclassmen and help their attributes grow?

I have those. My grandkids got that game for me about 5 years ago, because I had said that was one of my favorites from my childhood. I've played it with them many times. They still haven't got me Creepy Crawlers, though.

One of my favorite games as a kid and even into adulthood. I boxed and had a lot of talent but never went pro. Always loved it and still do.

I went pro and was lightweight but mainly because of the weight of the sport I was able to take it.
