More often than not these rosters don't compete well against any outside competition. It is just for fun. Sometimes the crappier the better.

I will update when I get home
The season Dick Allen was our 2nd baseman!!

Yes, I think Richie ( he didn't always go by Dick ) still holds a record for most errors by a 2nd baseman...he was plum awful...I believe he provided someone with around 200 misplays...a real wizard with the glove. I think he switched to Richie after the warm, adoring fans of Philly wished him adios...he was about as friendly as Gibson on the day he pitched....the dude swung a 40 ounce bat like it was a toothpick.

There are a few 1894 Buckley versions. It is the 324 PA Philadelphia version, salary $1,467,122

This guy somehow managed to win a game in his short MLB career, despite posting a 6.47 ERC and a 1.86 WHIP, surrendering less than a hit per inning.... He will be filling the #7 RP slot

RP #7 $500k - 1M

Let's hear it for

1970 Dick Such (and a Senator no less!)

$576,714

Current Payroll: $74,869,274

of a possible $79.5M, so we have saved almost $5M towards X-factor players...not shabby. Add to that $13.25M built in from the get go, so we are already at $18M in the kitty...if you are wondering how I determine that, add these two together, subtract from $100M

Offensive player range total $41.9M to $47.25M
Pitchers range total $33.5M - 39.5M

Can you imagine that childhood? He had to have had a complex by age 7...a wonder he never went postal.

Hopefully someone is checking my work here. If I goof, let me know...

And oh by the way...Dick Allen and his seasons of a lousy 2B and SS rating(there are 3 actually, none had more than 1 game played at either 2nd or short) was the very reason we went to a 20 game at the position minimum. If you find that woeful a fielder that meets the requirement, I have no objection whatsoever to you throwing him into the live well...we will have to keep him.

But if you ever play a theme that allows you to dump a player's specific season onto someone's roster, those middle infield positions are sure fire poison...the '74 is especially unpleasant. The ratings are hilarious...Doctor Strangeglove (Dick Stuart) would look like Ozzie Smith in comparison...
