What is everyone's take on WRs BLKing? Does it fly or is it good just to bump a players TECH?
I know in the past that this was brought up to WIS without a definitive answer. And I do believe that the answer that was given " it couldn't hurt ". Really?

Any ones thoughts?

I do not think that the new powers that be know enough about the game to give an answer either.

Ehh. I don't pay any attention to WR blocking. Or RB blocking, for that matter.

I don't put any value in WR blocking either. However, I put a lot of value in a fullback with high blocking

I don't put much creed in RBing either. Doesn't seem to make any difference. Until you can practice a FB that BLKs it wont make any difference.

I don't think that a WR does any BLKing no matter how much put into a WR. They just spread the field. How ever it would be a good thing if they could BLK.

Sure wish that the powers that be would make some changes.

One would think that WR blocking would factor more with outside runs. No idea if the game takes that into account much. I assume they either don't or it matters very little. So, I don't ever look at WR blocking. I do practice it a small amount though.

And I. Usually put about 10 into it.
A waste of resources ? Who knows ?

It is useful. I do not review it for recruiting. I do train it.

I have player roles set up to show the 'best blocking WR' - but not sure if or how much more efficient the best blockers are. However, it does give some rest to the 'pass catchers' and get starts for other WR, so at least there is that.

I put a small amount into it as well. I do it only from a tech standpoint as I don't run..lol
