the above is the stupidest post......by an angry guy....i wish i could redline it.
to friend wylie i say from someone who in my time could always draw a line
juicing was a name for a lot of different stuff......there were a lot of people who used a few times but are counted as users and some were under the category of experimenters and some were occasional and there were not a lot who used heavy constant combos of steroids and hgh.
the real notorious " heroin " my term - users like clemens and bonds and that ilk of cheating is where i draw the hof line.

it is widely suspected that tony gwynn may have used in one season. if that is true - just one season i would probably give him the mulligan.
if a guy under consideration was documented as someone who used a few times very limited with very limited impact i would vote for them.
im not against jaywalkers .
Cheating has always been part of baseball from spitballs, to sign stealing to performance enhancing drugs. If someone wants to risk their health to play baseball better, why should I care? And as someone else mentioned, its not like you take steroids and all of the sudden you get better. You still need to put in a lot of work and have the talent to start with.. Marvin Bernard took steroids. He was never more than a marginal player. There are many others who took steroids and were never good, let alone great.
How about Andy Pettitte? He says he took steroids to help in his recovery from an injury. Does he get a pass?
Also, I never heard that rumor about Gwynn...not sure how widely suspected it is.

i think you layed out that position well.

bonds shot and did cream...i think they all shot to some degree.......clemens shot.......
clemens used to take seasons off to use steroids and build up without mlb being able to test.
The HgH is the true enhancer.

i think thats right....the sosas and bonds etc all used that and other stuff and designer stuff.
hgh and anabolic steroids is the generic combo.
and a real good chicken soup from stan's deli.

Really? Calling out sportswriters for holding a grudge is a redline-able offense in your book?

Wow.

Coming from someone who doesn't know capitalization or punctuation, I consider that a badge of honor.

BRAD RADKE WAS AS GOOD AS CATFISH HUNTER!
Career ERA+ of 104, it’s not as hard to do as y’all make it out to be. Face it, he wasn’t as good as you remember. That’s just your nostalgia.

the votes are pouring in at a trickle pace.
but doubled since last post.
bonds / clemens / schilling all a bit below water but fighting for survival.
walker is floating enough above water.
12/12/2019 6:04 PM
big uptake in voting since 2012.
now 9.2% of votes known.

larry walker is surging at 84.2%
the co - needlers are on pins and needles at 76.3%......may not be propitious...considering their history of slowing down at end of public ballots.
big surprise is omar vasques and rolen.......approx 45 and 40 respecively.........on only 3rd try...
