NOTE TO SELF - if someone is unable/incapable of making a pick in the 1st ROUND - maybe they should be passed over and the next man up chooses whomever he wants -- I MEAN REALLY , PROBLEMS IN THE 1ST ROUND ----- what the heck is a matter with people.

How about since it really comes down to one of two players, we let JCred pick his choice of the two, give redbooda the remaining of the two, and then move on to #4?

Fair enough. Redbooda seems like a decent dude and being a DC cop probably is a tough gig. But he does this a lot. I suspect he would happily take the leftover of jcred’s pick between two to keep the draft moving. He has never complained about the league making a decision on his behalf in other leagues.

That being said, it is a little out of character. Typical league policy for these themes is best by ADP gets assigned. But again I’m fine either way.
