I truly never expected the Mets, a team that finished near the bottom of the cumulative stats last leg to get hammered so hard. The only guy that got poached that wasnt in my plans was Hojo. He was a bargain long time ago but his new $9 mil + salary makes him too rich for my blood. Hope I have enough left to be somewhat competitive.

There's always some randomness to which teams get hit each draft, but regardless of how the Mets did collectively last leg doesn't make, say, Doc Gooden any less attractive to draft.
