On this chart, my sense is the averages really should only be for non-zero seasons. North was used 5 times in LF but his AVG is much higher than 6.5. It's 20.8 for the 5 teams that used him there.

High K teams are averaging about 3.4 more plus plays than Low K teams, although when looking only at the core 5 players, that difference narrows to 0.375.

Through 1/4 of the season, the two groups are much much closer than in range performance compared to the teams in season 1. Controlling for OAV appears thus far to essentially eliminate any perceived advantage in range for teams with pitchers with low strikeout rates.
That would seem to be on track to establish that the order in which events are determined makes that factor unimportant after all. Let's see how a season of data goes, but I think you got the experiment design right here.

A very successful and helpful experiment contrarian23, and a fun league.

Early on, and throughout the season, I was concerned that I bought way to few AB's, and that might skew the results. I paid for 4580 AB's, and needed 5342 (just from position players). My players played at 88-98% for just about all season long. My core guys were usually in the 95-99%, so they weren't so gassed. It was all my other guys who were playing in the low 90's to high 80's. Looking at the league stats from above, it doesn't appear that anyone was impacted, or, if so, it's negligible. My "other" players were not high range type of guys, so only getting 18 from them isn't a surprise.
