I have merged Aaron and Manny Being Manny worlds into one. I am the commissioner of the resulting world.

Here are the rules:

World name: Aaron

- Permanent MLB locations and team names; no franchise name changes or relocation

- Maintain your minors or you're out

- Veteran's committee of four owners plus the commish will decide on all issues of contention

- First overall pick in the draft must be a two-pitch pitcher. If the first overall doesn't sign, and type D compensation results, the type D pick must be a two-pitch pitcher. (starting in season 2)

I chose Louisville because I wanted all “real” Major League teams. The Colonels are from the defunct Federal League.

But I dont like the rule on drafting a pitcher 1st overall no matter what- but I'll adapt because it's likely I'll never draft 1st overall. Never have in 140 HBD seasons

Might be a different forum that already has the answer to this question, but if two Worlds merge and start at season 1, do the owners lose the data from previous seasons in those Worlds?

I will take Cleveland.

I love this. Gimme the Mets.

I thought about that rule to draft a two-pitch pitcher 1 overall for a while and I actually like it. Makes you think twice about heavy tanking. The #2 pick is more valuable. Kind of fun.

Could you explain the reasoning for the two-pitch pitcher being drafted first overall? On the surface, I don't like that rule.

I would be interested in the Chicago Cubs.

The purpose of the rule is because setting a MWR just creates a new "target" to aim for. If 1st pick is always a relief pitcher there's an incentive to not finish last, no matter what. Hope that helps.
