I didn't like Miami at all. Totally dependent on local talent. If you had to expand north you had to go through both Florida and Florida State then deal with the other schools like NC or Duke. Even as an elite, there is no way to compete money wise when you're spending 1300 on a visit, and they are spending 800

I haven't coached at Florida or Miami but definitely didn't like Fla St. I was always getting surrounded by LSU, Bama, and Gators. I think FSU is one of toughest locations. Michigan isn't a picnic either cause you have the Irish and Buckeyes to the west and south and no recruits to the north. I really wanna give USC or Texas a shot sometime.

You take a look at Miami on the map, and much of their 180 mile radius is WATER. I wouldn't take Miami if I had the choice.
