The first game is in the books as Hesleper Impact takes a 1-0 road victory over Capital Punishment, thanks to a 52nd minute header by Macnile Boyd off a corner kick...sending the 52,484 in attendance home disappointed.

I don't give commentary on every game but the opening match always gets a nod.

The day ends with a 16-way tie for the L'Orteil D'or award. Very exciting stuff.

I accidentally scheduled a third game with 244 in group B. I'm not aware of a way to cancel the game at this point so just disregard that third match.

No problem. It happens occasionally. The March 1st game won't count.

So it wasn't enough that i played shorthanded the entire game. Now your telling me, my opponent was parading around a 79 yr old geriatric goal scoring phenom ? That is very hurtful.

lol...welcome to the big time.

Wait until you play the Metropolitan Screaming Eagles and his 98 year old forward Edman Hallberg puts one in the back of the net against you.

Edman Hallberg is now 101.

The group tables are slowly taking shape. With another 9 match-ups tomorrow, including the first couple of games out of Group D, Knockout Round spots are going to start being claimed.
