Question about non-roster invitees: I know Brian Dozier is a NRI for the Padres, but he’s not listed on the MLB list. I’d like to take the Padres, but I’d be setting myself up for utter failure without Dozier (well and probably even with). Any thoughts?

That is strange that he's not listed on either. He's technically a minor-league free agent, but I think it's fine to use him. This story from the San Diego U-T seems to project he's a starter for them. Not that he's gonna hit 40 homers again, but the fun of this league is we are all dreaming before the games get played. Since he's not on anyone else's NRI or 40-man, this is an exception I'm fine with.

redcped, having some challenges drafting a comfortable # of PAs with Cardinals... their roster and NRI list is heavily stacked with young players with little or no MLB experience. I think I could probably make it work with a lot of AAA swapping - as long as you set the "final roster" date for the league to within the last 10 games of the season rather then around game 120... Can you confirm?

Yes, I have that set to the final series of the season. I don't like the early transaction deadline when you have AAA moving in and out.

Like the world around us, lots of moving parts going on here. Great job commish on being fluid and adapting....Going forward, I'd be totally into another altered version as well, BUT my preference is MLB gets going!

Thanks for the answer. I’ll jump in with the Padres and play around with a team. I’ll let you know if I need to switch it up.

Hmm. This is odd. Rockies have guys with under .500 ops numbers not showing up as eligible for aaa drafting. Anyone else having this issue? There are guys available from roster with small salaries I thought would be eligible. Under $1m salaries

Raimel Tapia, $906k, .754 ops DID show up in aaa draft search

Yonathan Daza, $316k, .494 ops DID NOT show up in aaa draft search

My guess is that Below Average level AAA means that guys who are too cheap won't be included because they aren't good enough compared with the AAA you can get generated.

My advice is once you are entered, go rename the appropriate AAA players at their positions to guys actually on your team's roster or NRI list.
