As a reminder, from our league constitution, here is exactly how we're going to do this:
Here is how the randomization is going to work. I keep a spreadsheet with each team's players. I will sort each team's 33 man roster as follows: position players in alphabetical order by last name, then pitchers in alphabetical order by last name.

Then I will go to www.roll-dice-online.com and generate 12 sets of 33 rolls of a ten sided dice. I will post these in this thread for all to see.

We will initially list the owners in the same order as the draft:
1. coachgreat1
2. mundocani
3. strubrosII
4. contrarian23
5. The_Creeper
6. winnetka1
7. Disco Dogs
8. stroh23
9. 06gsp
10. fire13
11. crazyamos

Then I will ask a hall of famer not in the league to generate random order for us, 1-12 (coachgreat1 = 1, mundocani = 2, etc.) Suppose this generates the following order: 9 1 12 7 11 3 4 6 8 5 10 2. Then the 9th owner on the above list (06gsp) would get the first set of assigned numbers. coachgreat1 would get the second set, italyprof would get the 3rd set, etc.

I will keep track of each owner's assigned seasons for each player, will post those for all to see, and will be responsible for verifying rosters to ensure the correct seasons are used. Remember, if you a draw a season in which your player did not appear in WIS, then he is on IR for that season. If you draw a season in which your player was traded, you may use any version from that season (partial or combined).

I am looking forward to putting 1900 in our rearview mirror. That season is brutal, with only 8 MLB teams, a lot of guys aren't in the database for 1900.

Despite only having 17 usable players, I think I did pretty well. Got the best seasons of several key guys. Unlucky to get John Anderson's missing 1900 so no first baseman, but I have four good OFs and an extra SS so no problem. There were a couple nightmare scenarios where I'd have little to no innings at 3B, SS and C.

Only five pitchers suitable for non-mop up duty but they have 1500 innings between the five including 485 strong from Vic Willis.

Made a ton of mistakes in the draft and very fortunately got away with them.

Yep. So I also have 20 player out of my 33 player roster. The good news is:

1) I have 7 pitchers intact with 1,723 innings between them for this season.

2) I have 13 position players. This includes:
3 catchers though one of them may need to share time at 2B (Ryan), but between them we have full-time (600 + PA) catching covered.
A full time first baseman McGann.
A full time second baseman Cupid Childs - (good thing in the end I did NOT change that hasty and mistaken pick after all in that draft round). Evers has 116 PA, Hughie Jennings has 402 and Jack Thoney has 152 at 2B so I may use Childs at 3B since I have no real 3B (Irwin got erased when Thanos snapped his fingers, um, when we rolled the dice), and do 2B by committe and 3B out of position.
A full time SS in Dahlen
Three full-time OFs, Slagle, Flick and Hemphill and a fourth part-time OF in Dale Gear.

So Baltimore can at least take the field this season, though I will need to partake of the collective bench players to get to 25, and of some 200K guys to get to 33.

Oh, I just re-read the League Constitution and I see that the 200K players are ONLY for reaching a roster of 25 players, not to get to 33 if we can already hit 25 with the 8 players that are available to all of us to use (correct contrarian23? Could you confirm this?).

So I guess in my case I get to use 5 of those 8 to reach 25, but not beyond 25, or can we use all 8 of them to go to 28, with the fictional players created by the WIS wizard not usable in games? Or only as many of the 8 - in my case 5 - as needed to reach 25 but the other 8 will be not-usable computer-generated players?
