Personally, with my performance, I believe I am a candidate for relegation.

there probably is enough interest to run 2 Savage leagues... a Premier Savage league (24 owners) and a Regular Savage league (24 owners). Top 4 from the regular league get promoted to premier league, and bottom 4 from premier league get relegated to regular league. Bottom 4 from regular league get replaced by new owners wanting to give it a go.

I would love this but I doubt there are 52 owners who want to consistently spend the money on 5 teams.

Yeah. I am flat out embarrassed by season 1. Some weird **** is going on, but I know one thing for damn sure: I am never, ever drafting Klay Thompson in a draft league again. The guy is shooting 5-10% (or more) below his RL averages on all five of my teams while most of the other players are shooting at or above.

holy **** we almost have 50k views on this thread.

You really went to bat for Klay Thompson, and while I understood it, I disagreed. I'm sorry, man.

What is so crazy is that I’m so delusional that I STILL think if I had him instead of Steve Nash, I’d be a top five team. I guess S2 won’t be much better for me after all.

This has definitely taught me that Jokic is more of a risk than I intended. I tried to take care of passing, usage and eFG% in one fell swoop, but in the process paid too much for one way players and ended up with guys like McCray who don't score enough and Hornacek who don't shoot enough. I've definitely updated my strategy for next time & am ready to start again.

(Is there a lottery based on reverse total points? Random draft order again?)

Just ran the numbers for exactly how badly Klay is doing vs his real life numbers:

fg% difference: -2.25%, -6.17%, -6.41%, -7.13%, -8.14%
efg% difference: +0.34% (!!!!), -3.51%, -3.72%, -6.49%, -4.70%

Everything I said initially remains true: he has an excellent efg%/usg% combo, solid defense, and superior turnover numbers. I have two theories as to why he has performed so poorly here, one of them being that I've been behind so much that he's launching a ton of desperation threes at the end of games, putting him in the individual possession penalty & thus lowering his overall fg% by two factors. The other one I'm going to keep to myself, as it plays a role in future strategies.

That would be awesome, but I don't now if the basketball sim has that much interest. Wish it did. We need to run this back for sure. If there's enough interest for multiple that's gravy
