work resume and education are not a always a good sign of intellect. Not saying this applies to you, but estimating someone's intellect on education and work resume is not always accurate. I've known high school drop outs who were some of the most intelligent people I've met. Also known Harvard grads who were idiots.

You will always find outliers but to me generally those with a strong education and strong work experience aren't people with "tiny minds and little intellect".
