Let’s be fair now, guys.

he’s also very lonely.

If he was getting paid for this **** then great! Good for him!

but I’m pretty sure he’s not and he’s just a sad lonely dude.

full disclosure: I never paid attention to this forum until I saw Doug post aborted babies. I couldn’t believe anyone could be that ****** up. Abortions happen. I don’t think anyone is quote unquote pro abortion, but we’re mostly pro choice I believe. A woman can decide that. Anyway, Doug is over here posting pictures of some incredibly intimate **** for I dunno owning the libs? Cool. You’re a grown man? It’s I think a year and half maybe actually two years and I just can’t anymore. These people are not to be talked to in good faith, they’re not to be talked to as adults, they’re ******* parasites. **** em. Join me in a boycott of Doug posts. Of All3 posts. Let’s discuss best years for albums more. Hey, who’s the best stand up? What’s your favorite Godfather?

**** these ********. I’m tired of this.

Can someone explain the actual harms of calling it marriage besides hurting all3's feelings?
Easy: One is an institution that is ordained by God. The other is a perversion of marriage. It is also sexual perversion. aka deviant behavior.

My 10 year old grand nephew understands that. Good luck
Didn't god create humans that engaged in habitual incest?

Wylie, I can only speak for myself, but I believe "marriage" is the unity of one man and one woman.
I respect same-gender couples and the commitment they make to each other. I also believe they should have the exact same legal/financial ramifications. I just wish it was called something else.
Then again, I still say there's no such thing as a turkey "burger", or a veggie "cheesesteak".
Those things may make me a dinosaur, and probably even put me in the minority, but they are my opinions, and are not any more wrong or right than anyone else's opinions.
if it has the same (if not more commitment, legal and financial ramifications, why bother calling it something other than marriage. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but to me marriage is when two people love each other to commit to each other. That's it.
Why do we call one a bun and one a roll?
Why is one an Avenue and the other a Road?
Same, but different. If a person wants to denote that difference by calling it something different, why stop them (short of calling something with no beef a "burger or a "steak", because that's just plain wrong and inaccurate)?
Would calling it a unity, or something else, somehow lessen it?
a bun and a roll are not the same thing. Ask any baker. marriage between 2 heterosexuals and marriage between 2 gays are the same thing, as you admitted they should be. (Of course, you will say I am twisting your words and you never said that but I think " I respect same-gender couples and the commitment they make to each other. I also believe they should have the exact same legal/financial ramifications. " is saying hust that.
Those two things are certainly NOT the same. What are you going to try to tell me next, that I approve of homosexuality because I treat homosexuals the same as everyone else?
How can you say you treat homosexuals the same as everyone else if you don't think they should be allowed to call their union a marriage?

RIGHT?! Christ.

Seriously. **** it. It’s time to stop engaging these people. Done with it.

Taint, what’s your favorite Beatles and or Stones album and why is one better than the other? That’s a more productive convo than whatever with all3 about anything. They’re done.

Yeah it's fun for me to talk **** about politics but Doug and All3 just aren't interesting to engage with after a while. Doug just doesn't care, and all3 is extremely predictable, and quite frankly very, very stupid.

We need more people like dahs or strikeout who, while I disagree with at times, are at least able to rationalize their viewpoints and put together an argument. CCCP, as low IQ as he is, would at least respond to the **** others would say, and was fun to banter with because he would end up trapping himself most of the time and just revert to ad homs. At times, CCCP would even change his perspective on an issue, only to revert back to his previous arguments when Ben Shapiro talked about it again. Even ******* guitarguy was more interesting, because it was fun to watch him make predictions that failed over and over again.

But Doug has gotten to the point where he responds to arguments with gifs, and all3 will not engage any arguments. I genuinely feel sorry for all3, because I don't think he can even comprehend the basic-level stuff that we talk about anymore. For example, when both UofA and I pointed out that the rising prices are due to other economic factors besides "Joe Biden bad," all3 didn't even counter any of it and essentially replied that prices are still going up so "Biden bad." Just some brain-empty stuff there.

Like I said, I enjoy talking to conservatives. I enjoy having my arguments challenged, because oftentimes that makes them stronger. Many of my beliefs have changed since I started posting here, and many more have been refined. But none of that happens when others won't or can't even understand what is going on.

Now, as for the albums and stuff, it is evident that I am of a VERY different generation than the rest of you boomers, so I might not be able to engage much lol

By the way, the future of politics is the Democratic party vs the Tucker Carlson Republican Party - super reactionary, super culturally conservative - conservatism being defined more by how willing you are to "fight" the left than your actual beliefs and policies, but faux-populist; they'll talk a lot of **** about the working class (which will increasingly become a dogwhistle for "white people" despite the fact that the actual working class is more diverse than the general population) and will hate on big business, but won't actually do anything of substance to help working class people.

We will expect less and less rhetoric about debt, fiscal responsibility, taxation, cutting regulations, etc. and more about tariffs, stopping immigration to "help working people" (even though both policies would do the opposite), and a vaguely-defined notion of "patriotism" and "freedom." Expect economic incentives for businesses who do not embrace "woke culture." Expect the culture war to be 90% of the discourse around the GOP, and to drive economic policy even when it makes zero sense.

And maybe, just maybe, we'll hear less and less talk about "defending capitalism" and more about how we need to take a "third position" of sorts away from capitalism (and woke corporations) and towards a new nation with a strong rule of law (long sentences for left-wing "protesters," and maybe we even send the police in to arrest people who are stirring up left wing radicalism), military, and police, that focuses on helping "real American patriots" with economic policy, that teaches kids to love the nation and it's founding heroes from a young age, and that has a strong leader who will fight back against the evil cultural (((bolsheviks))), a leader who the entire country can unite behind in a nationalistic fervor.

The Republican Party is moving more towards Doug and guitarguy and away from people like strikeout and dahs.

Keep in mind that I have always been 100% right about every prediction I have ever made. Good luck, America.

then they'll keep losing elections

much like they keep losing the mask & vaccine debate
7/29/2021 1:48 AM
Yup. Their ideas are worse and there are less of them than there are us. That's why they need to focus on the culture war, and try to rig the scales in their favor even more than they actually are, to the point of eventually likely overturning elections that they lost.

It’s like you’re describing Josh Hawley’s wet dream: a sort of, I guess, national socialism.

I'd make a joke about marriage here but my wife reads this from time to time.
