I have Lung Cancer Topic

.I had my 3rd session of Chemo Maintenance(Keytruda) on Feb. 2nd, only 2 hours feels like a breeze compared to that 8-9 hours of the other cycles. Only get touches of nausea here and there and extreme tiredness is also random it seems.............Will have a God*****d f%*&ing, Pet/CT Scan on the 15th, hopefully it shows continued good responses to the therapy!
Enjoy the Snow!!!!!!!!! p.s.---my eyebrows and beard have grown back, lol

Thanks for the update bronx. Compared to you, I'm treading water. Latest CT (1/28) showed some tumors "marginally" growing and others "marginally" decreasing. That was my first scan in 5+ months. Not ready to settle for treading water, so switching chemo concoctions again. This will be my 3rd different one in 16 months. I can feel the rest of my body getting really tired of chemo though, so hopefully this mix works. Way more sleep needed than I'd like, very little strength or endurance (despite hitting the gym at least twice a week), and having the hair of a 2-month old really s*cks in the middle of northeastern winter. May your progression continue.

Thank you guys, and to those who site-mailed. As I replied to a couple of you, the smallest "little" message can often mean a great deal to the person on the receiving end, so never hesitate to reach-out to someone if you're thinking about them.

In a related plea, be sure to get your colonoscopies. I was healthy and stubborn, so never had one at almost 55. Will never know if my cancer would have been found before stage 4, but it might have, and almost certainly wouldn't have spread to my liver and lungs. Don't want to do it for yourself, then do it for your loved ones.
Due to family history (thanks, mom!), I've been getting colonoscopies on a more frequent than usual basis since my early 40's. I think I'm up to four so far, and am now on a three year cycle between procedures (next one is next year, I think).

The prep the night before is a *****, but a small price to pay when you consider the alternative.

Amen, tec. Amen.

yeah. colonoscopies are so much fun. The actual colonoscopy isn't that bad...it is the prep that gets me. Done it like 4 - 5 times by now. Yuck!

Thank you.

See folks, if rsp and I can talk things out and agree to be civil, why can't Politicians?

The results of my last PET/CT scan are in and it showed some regrowth and mutating of cancer cells, so I'll be back on the longer regimen of chemotherapy that I underwent in the first cycle. Back to that starting Tuesday the 23rd
