When I’m “gloating,” I’m a combination of a) happy for once that I’m doing well/enjoying this while it lasts and b) being competitive in the sense that it’s a competition. I don’t mean to make anyone feel worse. You know when Pex said “wake me up when the playoffs start?” That was well played and earned. It’s like that; Pex doesn’t mean anything by it, he’s just ribbing us a little bit.

Rage? Again, I’d have to care for there to be rage. This is just a sideshow. I’m not mad at rob, Ash or you. I’m annoyed when people disrespect me - over a game that is just that - but I’m not mad at anyone. If I wanted people to stop, it wasn’t for my sake. I can go all day like this. I just think most people don’t want to see this. And yet, because my name is brought up so often, it feels like I should try to discourage folks from going there. I shouldn't have posted that last night bds. Probably too much built up tension from being stuck inside due to these fires. I tend to be a logical poster and not an emotional poster, so not sure why I did that other than the aforementioned tension.

Much respect, admiration, and affection. None of us are our best selves on every day, and the cosmic interwebs are (honestly, in my opinion) a significantly flawed medium for making ourselves clearly understood. Nuance is often lost, along with body language and the obligation to think two or three times before we speak. My single, tiny vote is that all of us proceed in the spirit of fun, forgiveness, and flexibility. One single day is not going to be everyone's best day in the era of pandemic (or wildfires, cancel culture, recession, political dissonance, cognitive bias, and general weirdness), so I wish only good things for each of you and look forward to whatever we can enjoy together in the future.

Wow, there's some separation between pexetera and the rest of us, and then it's pretty tight most of the way down. I expect a lot of shifting in the standings.

if I can't get 5 teams into the playoffs then that separation won't count for much. (unless you're more than 20 points back when the playoffs start) It'll come down to head-to-head matchups in the playoffs, like it did last season. There are definitely some stacked teams out there that can stop a playoff run real quick.

I don't always have time to post the latest standings, so I am sharing this with the league. If you want to get the latest standings, just hit "refresh all" twice on the data tab (technically you can just do refresh all once, and then refresh once but the other way is just less clicking. The pivot table refreshes before the Power Query tabs which is why you have to do it twice. It takes like less than 10 seconds to do.

Anyone can just download this, keep it local and rerun. The URLs are hardcoded so it won't work in future vintages of Savage. You will probably have to "enable content" since it references external sources (Whatifsports.com in this case).

I think the above only works if you have Excel. I don't use Google spreadsheet much but I don't think it can handle Power Query.

I've basically tried to stay out of any of it since the last blow up, and I'm going to continue doing that unless directly provoked. There's far more important **** going on than someone's success or lack thereof on this site. Many of us are struggling right now with 800 things that nobody else knows about, so try & keep that in mind before trolling or jumping down someone's throat.
