The 'Dark Horse' was going to be a bonus where once we had submitssions, and then a top ten was determined...
the Dark Horse would have been a long shot... a team that was flying under the radar (outside the concensus top ten)

but as it played out, we had tepid responce until the end,
and by that point we didnt have time to go with that aspect.

Im not sure that you were the only one who paid attention to the 'Dark Horse' segment of the contest.

In the intro / rules segment I posted:
DARK HORSE: After Pre Season Top Ten posts – each team names a DARK HORSE (will set deadline)
DARK HORSE earns point value of teams finish.

The rules segment is clear that a potential 'Dark Horse' choice would be an owner outside our established 'Top Ten'.
Due to submissinos mostly occuring just before our season beginning,
we didnt establish a Top Ten and therefore there wasnt a favored and long shot grouping developed.

"Changed the way I said I was going to score it" - Im not sure that is the case. In fact, I think I adhered to scoring it in the way I explained.

I feel like I did 'stick to it'. I am unsure how I might have deviated. I may have made errors in the way I applied points, and am eager to revise.

Maybe you were confused, and had a hard time understanding. Or, maybe I did a poor job in my explanation and in illustrating my intent.
I've been readily available, and could have tried to help you clear up you issues.

As far as labeling as 'lame' and your cursing,
well I guess that is your prerogative to handle your concerns in that manner ...

mptrey is clearly predicted to be in our TOP TEN, and
CLEARLY would not be a candadate for a DARK HORSE submission.

lets take at look at the rest of my picks for the league...some waaaay off(looking at you bds and ltb) but overall pretty damn good


1. benhoidal - Took a risk in ignoring the backcourt with the first three picks, but it paid off when he was able to get Deron and Danny Green.

2. dbkc - Really nice job of covering ast% on the two teams without Simmons.

3. ashamael - Initial thought was disappointment that ash copied kinoa. But after looking at the options in round 2/3 for his team, I think it's clear Frazier/Kyrie were the best picks. Especially Frazier.

4. pexetera - Pex getting Marshall and Butler in the 4th/5th was bad for the league.

Yeah, I took that as after we posted our top ten that we each selected a Dark Horse. I see now where this is wrong. This is on you, however, as you didn't push forward with the thing you said you were gonna do.

You didn't stick to this. This is what I was referring to. Just using dh as an example:

I thought this scoring method was odd to say the least, but it is literally what you posted and therefore established, and to change it after the league is done is, in my mind, lame. I don't care about the credits if I would have won or lost, I just think that if you establish a scoring system, you should stick to it.
