and here is your "All Not Drafted Team":

starting at point guard from the University of Southern Illinois, Walt 'Clyde' Frazier
starting at the 2, his sister was better than he was, from UCLA, Reggie Miller
at small forward, star of White Men Cant Jump, from UCLA, Marques Johnson

ooh, good one!

Mostly, he gets drafted as a backup but he has a good starter year.
9/5/2020 3:11 PM
yep, 2400 minutes of good D, Rebs and efg and decent usage and still pretty clean TOV and PF wise

Robert Parish is the one you’re looking for

I think somebody grabbed him, I almost did too
Unless I’m missing something, he is a free agent.

All those dudes are drafted more than 70% of the time. First time Rajon Rondo and George Hill were not selected since I have been tracking.

I'm starting to think trading/ADP strategies are going to evolve in a way that make this league harder and harder to compete in. I don't know what to make of someone like Buck Williams going undrafted. It feels like there are going to be more trades than ever. Eventually, it might be too easy to hack this draft

Author's note/disclaimer/prevention note: If you're one of these incredibly prideful people who wants to take this opportunity to put me down, I KNOW what you're going to say, but don't. Why? Because this is a general comment about draft strategy, not about the draft in retrospect. I may do poorly. Since I acknowledge that, I'm not a hypocrite. Cool? Cool.

I had my eyes on half those guys but just couldn't make the money work or felt I needed something that they didn't bring by the time I started thinking about them

It make sense that with the 19-20 guys coming in a bunch of guys normally drafted weren't going to get drafted. Some really good 19-20 seasons plus we're just excited to use them.

There's only so many spots for guys who cost $7mil+ in this league. Once a guy slips past the 3rd/4th round or so, all bets are off because people have limited resources left.

I certainly was excited to use 19-20 players I like to change things up and a lot of quality 19-20 options that I’ve never used before.
