I always planned to have Adams as my fifth starter. His 19-20 is pretty fun. That OREB% and AST% combination is pretty rare.

I did the trade with dBKC for the extra 5th rounders because there are a couple people who I know like my bench guys (O'Quinn and Tyreke) and I didn't want to risk missing them, knowing I could probably get Adams in the 6th.

He would have in the past if he wasn't purely boxing out and letting Russ pad his DREB numbers.

I put a very small wager on Adams to lead the league in rebounds this season for that reason.

Ha, I'm one of the people who like O'Quinn and Tyreke. But I could not have possibly afforded them on this team.

The other great thing about Adams is that he's basically one of the coolest looking dudes in the world. He is in real life, the characters that Jason Momoa plays in movies/TV shows. Don't get me wrong, Momoa is one of the coolest looking dudes on the planet too. But Adams is basically Momoa but 8 inches taller with genuine athletic ability. I'm reasonably sure he could pick up Chris Paul and toss him into the third row if he wanted to. Probably at the top of the list of guys I would never want to mess with in the NBA - not that he's particularly aggressive, but picking a fight with him would clearly be a very bad idea.
