ok instead I will take California (2,333) choices or Penn (1,435 choices) or Texas (951) choices or Illinois (1,067) choices or Ohio (1,046) choices instead of Nebraska. Oh wait they've been taken already.
thanks I'm out I've tried Nebr before and got killed mainly lack of infield choices and relief pitching. even with the Dakota's I would have probably failed anyway. probably saved me some anguish for 2 months. but good luck guys

I think Illinois is still available. As are Missouri, New Jersey, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, or a bunch of other states I didn’t bother to look up that Im sure could field competitive teams.

There are always complaints about Nebraska not being able to field a good team but I remember someone winning one of these leagues with a Nebraska team. Bob Gibson, Pete Alexander, Richie Ashburn, Sam Crawford and Wade Boggs are a great foundation for a team.
