Congratulations!

You have found yourself in a political discussion or argument and you want to make a point. Even better, you have chosen our product, a New York Times article, to help you in this activity. Please note, for your own safety, that there is very little difference between our product and, say, a Breitbart article. We mention this only as a standard warning and advice on long-term care for your product. What puts our product in a class of its own is the prestige attached to it (included in your purchase), prestige so great (and well taken care of and protected!) that our product has become one of the official organs of truth for (customer's name) country. It is this, and not the quality of our product, which gives it its ultimate value. We thank you again for your purchase and recommend only compatible, Karl Marx-approved ideas be used in conjunction with our product to ensure long-term functionality. Thank you again.

And vote like your life depends on it (we are telling you this because our analytics department has informed us thst most people accessing this book hold political opinions that we have pre-approved. We aren't really saying vote, silly, we're saying vote for our guy.)

Damn, looks like every single columnist who writes for the NYT (including numerous conservatives) as well as the infinite number of editorials that could exist in the present and future are all wrong simply because of the publisher. You're real smart, guitarguy. Ooh, and the generally liberal NYT is now following Karl Marx. Got it. I know it's fashionable on the right to to be intentionally dishonest about what socialism actually is, but this is pretty bad even by your standards. The Editorial Board endorsed AMY KLOBUCHAR. Not sure Marx would approve of that one.

I agree btw. The NYT kind of sucks. But it's not because they're radical socialist antifa looters, it's because they're inoffensive centrist *******. They won't tell people who to vote for, but they should.

You lost the bet. Bye!

You're even denser than your state school education suggests if you think I made that bet in any fashion other than tongue fully planted in cheek, guy :)

Even I'm not dumb enough to make up a news story and then bet on it's credulity (lets leave that to the respected writers over at The Atlantic ;) )

The Latest Death Count from What Y'all Said was Just the Sniffles: 195,683 American lives.

"If we only have 100,000 deaths from this virus, we will have done a great job." President Trump, March 30, 2020.

trump laid down his own marker on how to measure his success or failure and by his own measure he has failed.
